Reflexologic maps of feet & hands

A reflexologic map is a two-dimensional abstract expression to a three-dimensional body. In the map we can see the inner physiologic reflection of the different body parts which is unseen and can not be felt. The colors highlight connections between body systems.

Feet

The advantage of man over animal is in that his base of connection to the ground is through his feet and only them. Evolutionary and metaphorically, human legs could be the development of the four legged animals' back legs. The reflection of the organs in the feet represents their connection to the ground, the base, physically and mentally. The feet are man's base, the base that fulfils his will and takes him to wherever he wants to reach on earth.

Palms

The advantage of man over animal is in his hands that connect him to his centers of will, initiative, intentions, planning, memory, they enable the "doing". Evolutionary and metaphorically, human hands could be the development of birds' wings. The reflection of the organs in the palms represents their connection to the air, vision, imagination and the endless possibilities, physically and mentally. Hands are the wings of imagination.
